Abstract
Teaching case discussions are an effective method to enhance clinical reasoning skills in resident physicians.Patients in department of pediatric neurology often present with complex etiologies and multiple comorbidities,making it difficult for a single discipline to provide comprehensive teaching.This article discusses the teaching process of integrating case discussions with multi-disciplinary treatment(MDT)in department of pediatric neurology.First,it explains the current status and role of teaching case discussions in standardized residency training in improving residents'abilities to identify,analyze,and solve problems,while fostering clinical reasoning methods and strengthening clinical thinking skills.It then describes the teaching process combined with MDT,including case selection,personnel preparation,preparation of discussion materials,implementation,and feedback.Additionally,the article provides examples of teaching case discussions and emphasizes the importance of multidisciplinary participation.Finally,it concludes by highlighting the significance of standardized residency training and the effectiveness of integrating MDT into teaching case discussions.关键词
