Abstract
The United Arab Emirates has embarked on a path of space development with its own characteristics through the implementation of UAE Astronaut Programme,Emirates Lunar Mission,Emirates Mars Mission,Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt and the UAE Satellite Programme.The UAE government not only provides policy support and financial guarantee for the development of the space industry,achieves new breakthroughs through international cooperation,but also pays attention to space education and talent training,and includes private space enterprises in the national space development strategy.The UAE still faces challenges such as the shortage of space talent resources,weak research and development capacity,over-reliance on international cooperation,great influence by political factors,limited capacity of the private space sector,and insufficient support for the development of the space industry.China and the UAE have a good foundation for cooperation in areas such as lunar exploration,satellite navigation and communications,and exchange of space achievements,but face challenges at the same time.China should accurately position its space cooperation relations with the UAE,continuously improve the top-level design of space cooperation,make joint efforts from both the government and the private sector,and further promote the construction of a wider and more extensive space cooperation based on joint research and development,technology transfer,and talent training from a variety of participants and perspectives.关键词
