数字经济赋能黄河流域新质生产力及低碳转型的路径研究
Study on the Path of Digital Economy Empowering New Quality Productivity and Low-Carbon Transition in the Yellow River Basin

Abstract
In order to explore the practical path of digital economy empowering the cultivation of new-quality productivity and urban low-car-bon transformation,and to provide reference for the research related to the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin,the paper took the extent of low-carbon transition as the explained variable and the"Broadband China"pilot policy,a proxy for the digital economy,as the core explanatory variable,also considered energy efficiency,industrial structure,and the level of consumption low-carbon transition as mediator variables representing new productive forces.Using the panel data of 76 cities in the Yellow River Basin from 2011 to 2022,the empirical analysis was carried out by using the multi-period double-difference model.The results show that a)the de-velopment of digital economy can significantly promote the low-carbon transformation of cities in the Yellow River Basin.b)The low-carbon transformation effect of digital economy is heterogeneous in the Yellow River Basin in terms of city class and city scale,with the effect being more pronounced in the central cities,and the effect is increasing in small,medium and large cities in that order.c)The new-quality pro-ductivity has an important intermediary effect on the low-carbon transformation effect of digital economy,and the supply-side energy.The im-provement of supply-side energy efficiency and the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure are two specific paths that significantly help the low-carbon transformation.Finally,the paper proposes suggestions such as comprehensively promoting the development of the digital economy in the Yellow River Basin,accelerating the formation of key areas for cultivating new productive forces,and adopting multiple meas-ures to continuously promote the low-carbon transition in the Yellow River Basin.关键词
