Abstract

The Hutiaomen Channel Super Major Bridge is one of the key projects in the construction of the new Shenzhen to Jiangmen Railway,featuring a main span of 300 meters as a cable-stayed bridge.To study the optimal structural form,composite box girder,hybrid box girder,and concrete slab-steel truss composite beam are compared.The concrete slab-steel truss composite beam shows significant advantages in terms of landscape integration,wind resistance and economy,making it the recommended solution.Key technological research is conducted on the concrete slab-steel truss composite beam,with the objective of minimizing steel usage by determining critical structural design parameters.The structural behavior is analyzed to derive the distribution of internal forces in the components.The shear hysteresis effect of the"Π"-shaped wide slab is also examined.The research results indicate that when the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the lower chord steel structure to the concrete slab reaches about 1.2%,the steel usage of the main girder reaches the minumum.At this point,the concrete slab bears approximately 90%of the axial force,about 70%of the shear force at the nodes with stay cables,and about 40% of the shear force at the nodes without stay cables.The shear hysteresis coefficient of the concrete slab generally increases from the mid-span to the bridge tower support,with values ranging from 1.02 to 1.16 under dead load and 1.09 to 1.22 under live load.The main girder exhibits excellent wind resistance and running performance,and will not become a speed control point for the entire railway line.
