摘要

Abstract

Idiopathic scoliosis is a prevalent spinal condition with unknown etiology,and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)dem-onstrates distinct advantages in its management.However,several pressing issues persist in its practical application:(1)Accurate TCM diagnosis for idiopathic scoliosis;(2)Clear determination of the clinical manifestations and etiology of this condition;(3)Iden-tification of the affected area and nature of idiopathic scoliosis for the establishment of appropriate treatment principles.This study aims to investigate the diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for idiopathic scoliosis through the lens of"correcting bone and muscle imbalance".It provides a categorization and rationale for TCM differentiation in idiopathic scoliosis,highlighting"bone misalign-ment and muscle disharmony"as crucial clinical features and emphasizing muscle and bone imbalance as the fundamental pathogen-esis.Clinical diagnosis and treatment require precise recognition of the deficiency and excess patterns of idiopathic scoliosis as a comprehensive musculoskeletal disorder,along with the proposal of treatment principles centered around"correcting bone and muscle imbalance"and targeted therapeutic approaches.The ultimate goal is to prevent and rehabilitate idiopathic scoliosis effec-tively.
