Professor Zhang Jianying's Experience in Treating Allergic Rhinitis with Ren Meridian Moxibustion Based on"Jianpi Tongqiao"

Abstract
As a common clinical disease,allergic rhinitis is mainly treated by glucocorticoids,antihistamines,and other drugs in Western medicine.Although it can relieve the temporary symptoms,it is easy to relapse.The curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine in treating this disease mostly starts from the lungs.Professor Zhang Jianying,based on clinical practice,proposed that the core pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis is the weakness of spleen,failure of Qing Yang,deficiency of nasal cavity,not producing gold from soil,and loss of external defense.Based on the theory of"Jianpi Tongqiao",Ren meridian moxibustion is used as the treatment method,invigorating spleen and qi,nourishing soil and gold,replenishing fire and soil,clearing and removing dampness,promoting nasal orifics and mediating three jiao qi machine.It is emphasized that under the guidance of the holistic concept and the idea of ad-dress both the symptoms and root causes,it can not only improve the acute symptoms of the attack period but also reduce the risk of recurrence.关键词
