Abstract

The production unit of a hydrogen production facility and the protected target building(cabinet room)are located within the same high blocking frame,which poses a safety protection risk.Once hydrogen gas leaks and causes an explosion,it may cause significant casualties and property damage.By establishing a pro-portional 3D model,the hydrogen cloud formed after hydrogen leakage in the hydrogen production unit was used as the explosion source.Based on FLACS software 3D simulation,the disaster consequences of hydrogen cloud explosion in the high blockage environment of the building's internal architecture space were studied,and the maximum impact range of the accident under the existing structure was determined.The results showed that after a hydrogen gas cloud explosion accident occurred in the hydrogen production unit,the maximum explosion over-pressure was 14.6 kPa,with a duration of 45 ms.The degree of damage to the building was between complete collapse and complete destruction.Therefore,in order to carry out anti-explosion reinforcement and renovation of the cabinet room,a renovation idea of spraying a 3 mm protective coating and adopting structural reinforce-ment was proposed.The research results can provide reference for the anti explosion assessment of hydrogen ex-plosions in similar environments,as well as the anti explosion renovation of target areas in similar framework factories.
