Research on Residential Historic Culture District Renewal Strategies from Inclusivity Perspective:A Case Study of Xintaicang Historic Culture District in Beijing

Abstract
Residential historic and cultural districts are not only the spatial carrier of urban history and culture,but also an important place to reflect the quality of urban life.How to realize its inclusive development on the basis of protection has become a difficult and key point in urban renewal.In response to problems such as cultural decline,spatial fragmentation,and reduced willingness of residents to participate in the conservation and renewal of residential historical and cultural districts,starting from the perspective of Inclusivity,an inclusive renewal framework for residential historic cultural districts is established,emphasizing a human-centric inclusive core value orientation.This framework introduces an inclusive renewal dimension that couples demand with spatial elements and proposes a path for inclusive district renewal,encompassing social and cultural development,physical space creation,and institutional measures safeguarding.Taking the renewal of Xintaicang historic cultural district in Beijing as a case study,a residential historic cultural district renewal strategy is proposed based on coordinated collaborative construction throughout the social environment,inclusive sharing of all elements in the spatial system,and comprehensive management and governance throughout the guarantee mechanism's lifecycle.关键词
