Jia Yingjie's experience in the treatment of hot flashes after endocrine therapy in prostate cancer based on the triple energizer
摘要
Abstract
This paper explains Professor Jia Yingjie's clinical experience in treating endocrine therapy-related hot flashes in prostate cancer from the perspective of the sanjiao(triple energizer)theory. He believes that insufficient original qi(Yuan qi)in the sanjiao, combined with impaired qi transformation leading to abnormal interactions of organ systems,is central to the development of hot flashes in prostate cancer patients undergoing endocrine therapy.Sanjiao qi transformation underlies the mutual generation and restraint within the five elements of the zang-fu organs. In advanced prostate cancer, the spleen and kidney are particularly affected.Endocrine treatment further weakens these organs, resulting in depleted original qi in the sanjiao, impaired qi transformation, and internal accumulation of pathogenic dampness. This leads to adhesions and unresolved pathogenic masses, disrupting the five-element regulatory balance and manifesting as hot flashes. In clinical practice,Professor Jia emphasizes grounding treatment in the Middle Earth(spleen and stomach)to strengthen the original qi.He frequently uses Huangqi(Radix Astragali)to directly reinforce the spleen, supporting original qi and regulating qi movement.Additionally,he applies aromatic herbs to transform dampness, remove toxins, disperse pathogenic dampness, and cleanse the intestines to promote qi transformation.Careful attention is given to restoring balance across all organs to reestablish the natural generation and restraint among the five elements.关键词
