Abstract
This paper explores a new public cultural space construction model based on the intergenerational integration and sharing among the elderly and the young,and focuses on meeting the basic public cultural service needs of the elderly and the children in the 5-10 minute urban community living circle.It selects a typical community in Handan City,Hebei Province,a 5-10 minute community living circle surrounding Xuebu Bridge,for investigation and design research.Through on-site investigation and preliminary analysis,it proposes the strategies for the planning and design of the new public cultural spaces based on intergenerational integration of the elderly and children in the community,so as to create a new type of public cultural space that is diverse,inclusive,emotionally interactive,convenient,accessible,comfortable,safe,contextualized,and intelligent from macro to micro perspectives.关键词
