The Historical Origins of Chinese and Korean Academies Seen from the Architectural Layout:A Case of Bai Ludong Academy and Sosu Academy

Abstract
As an important institution for the dissemination of Confucian culture,Academy occupies an important position in the history of education in China and Korea.As the first academy in Korea,the establishment of Sosu Academy was deeply influenced by Bai Ludong Academy and Zhu Xi's scientific thoughts,which laid the foundation for the improvement of the Korean academy system and the formation of educational thoughts.This paper takes Sosu Academy in South Korea as the research object,through field investigation and historical data mining,combined with the historical background and development of the two academies,and makes a comparative study on the site selection,architectural layout,and constituent elements of the academies,so as to explore the internal relationship between Sosu Academy and Bai Ludong Academy in China in terms of cultural heritage and academy establishment,and to finally derive the specific correlations and differences.It provides theoretical basis and graphic materials for subsequent researchers.关键词
