The Problems and Design Strategies for the Renovation and Expansion of Hospital Buildings from the Perspective of Urban Organic Renewal

Abstract
With the deepening development of cities,urban construction is gradually transitioning to the stage of stock planning and high-quality development.In this context,the renovation and expansion projects of hospital buildings have become the mainstream trend in the design of medical architecture.This paper aims to provide a new perspective and strategic theoretical support for the renovation and expansion of modern hospitals by using the concept of"organic renewal"in urban planning.The paper summarizes the potential problems encountered in the renovation and expansion of hospital buildings and proposes the corresponding solutions from the perspective of"organic renewal".Furthermore,the paper conducts a case analysis on the renovation and expansion project of a hospital in the old urban area,and delves into relevant issues.By combining theoretical analysis and practical case studies,this paper advocates to make the renovation and expansion of hospital buildings a dynamic and continuous process,achieving the goal of"organic renewal".关键词
