摘要

Abstract

Single-phase grounding short-circuit is one of the main fault forms of 220~500 kV transformers.Compared with the phase-to-phase differential protection,the zero sequence differential protection has higher sensitivity to the single-phase grounding fault that occurs inside the transformer.Therefore,how to accurately check the polarity of the zero sequence current transformer gradually be-comes the focus of on-site engineers.Taking an overseas project as an example,it analyzes in detail the application process of chec-king the zero sequence differential protection through excitation inrush current,and provides a guiding basis for judging the polarity of zero sequence differential protection on site.
