Abstract
Based on Acoustic Doppler effect,ship-mounted ADCP is used to measure water current velocity and direction,which is simple,high-efficient,and widely used for measuring the rate of current at a hydrologic section,the velocity and direction of current at fixed points.Random ADCP can be used to measure the rate of current but do not support the output of data on current velocity and direction at fixed points.Based on real business demands,ADCP data characteristics,and the vector properties of current velocity and direction,an algorithm was designed for extracting the data on the fixed-point current velocity and direction produced by using ship-mounted ADCP,and a software was developed to support the algorithm function.Engineering practice showed that the data extracted through the algorithm was consistent with the data measured by a mechanical flow-meter,accurate and worthy of promotion.关键词
