摘要

Abstract

The development of fibrotic diseases is often attributed to a recurrent cycle of chronic inflammation,injury,and re-pair.Growing evidence suggests that tissue injury can promote fibrosis progression by activating epithelial to mesenchymal transi-tion(EMT),which involves fibroblast activation,cell migration and invasion,as well as excessive accumulation of extracellular matrix.Recent studies have shown that store-operated calcium entry(SOCE)promotes EMT and worsens fibrotic diseases,while inhibiting its signaling can help prevent and control fibrosis.In this context,the anti-aging protein Klotho may play a regulatory role in preventing and controlling fibrotic diseases by regulating SOCE.Therefore,this paper aims to review recent studies on the role of SOCE in regulating EMT in fibrotic diseases,as well as the potential regulatory function of Klotho,in order to offer theo-retical support for future research.
