Study on the Aging Behavior of ABS Resin

选取了市面上几种本体法ABS树脂和乳液法ABS树脂,分别采用了户外暴晒、氙灯老化、热老化和湿热老化研究了其耐候性.结果表明,对于有紫外光作用的户外暴晒和氙灯老化,乳液法ABS树脂的耐候性优于本体法ABS树脂,并且颜色变化趋势均是初期先变蓝,之后再持续变黄.而对于无紫外光作用的热老化和湿热老化,本体法ABS树脂却更耐候,且颜色变化趋势均是持续变黄.氙灯老化结果和户外暴晒测试结果具有一定的相关性.

Several kinds of bulk ABS resins and emulsion ABS resins on the market were selected.Outdoor exposure,xenon lamp aging,thermal aging and wet heat aging were used to study their weather resistance.The results show that the weather resistance of emulsion ABS resin is better than that of bulk ABS resin for outdoor exposure to ultraviolet light and xenon lamp aging,and the color change trend is blue at the beginning,and then continuously yellow.For the thermal aging and wet thermal aging without ultraviolet light,the bulk ABS resin is more resistant to weather,and the color change trend is continuous yellow.Xenon lamp aging results and outdoor exposure test results have a certain correlation.
