Fine interpretation and application of internal reservoirs in shallow water braided river delta:a case study of Bohai P Oilfield

Abstract
Bohai P oilfield is an offshore shallow water braided river delta oilfield,with a complex fault sys-tem and big difficulty in prediction of reservoir sand body morphology and distribution.As the oilfield enters middle-late stage of development,the fine interpretation of internal reservoirs becomes a key factor restric-ting the further exploration.By using seismic forward modeling,the criteria for distinguishing the combina-tion of sandbars and river channels within braided rivers,as well as the discontinuous boundaries of reser-voirs were established,and different types of seismic attributes to characterize discontinuous boundaries of sand bodies were optimized.Through the comprehensive research of well-seismic data,the fine interpreta-tion of reservoir internal structure accurately characterizes the distribution characteristics of braided river channels of different levels,and the multi-stage sedimentary microfacies map is formed,revealing the pro-file and vertical structural patterns of reservoir sand bodies,and providing a good guidance for oilfield devel-opment plans and horizontal well position deployment in later stage.关键词
