摘要

Abstract

Soil at different altitudes in the Northern Slope of Changbai Mountain were selected as the research objects to explore the change rules of organic carbon storage and stability of aggregates at different altitudes,which is of great significance for understanding carbon sequestration mecha-nism of alpine soil aggregates.The results show that the aggregate organic carbon storage mainly con-centrated in the particle size of>0.25 mm,at altitudes of 1 200-1 700 m and 2 600 m,the dominant particle size of aggregate organic carbon storage was>2 mm,and 0.25-2 mm particle size of aggre-gate organic carbon storage was the highest at altitudes of 700-1 100 m and 1 800 m.>2 mm and 0.25-2 mm accounted for 17%-77%and 20%-71%of the total carbon storage,respectively.How-ever,the carbon storage range of 0.053-0.25 mm and<0.053 mm was 2%-9%and 1%-15%,respec-tively,indicating that the contribution of soil carbon sequestration mainly depended on large aggre-gates of>0.25 mm.With the increase of altitude,the mean weight diameter(MWD)and geometric mean diameter(GMD)had the same change trend,both of which decreased first and then increased,indicating that the stability of soil aggregates at low altitude(700-1 000 m)and high altitude(1 400-2 600 m)was higher than that at middle altitude(1 100-1 300 m).The soil aggregates reached the highest value at 800 m,followed by 2 600 m,and the lowest value at 1 300 m.The high content of macro-aggregates and soil nutrients are important factors for soil carbon sequestration and soil aggre-gate stability.
