Abstract
The purpose,equipment,process and results of the liquid-plastic limit test are analyzed based on the investigation project of a high-way widening reconstruction project.The results show that the liquid limit and plastic limit of the samples dried at 65℃are higher.The aver-age difference of plastic index of the samples under different settling times and test sequences is 0.1 to 0.93,and the factors such as settling time and use of hair dryer have great influence.The liquid plastic limit passing through 1 mm screen is smaller than that passing through 0.5 mm screen.The average difference of the plastic index of the sample with or without Vaseline is 0.1～0.8,and the control work should be done during the test.关键词
