Axial compression performance of composite strengthened square medium-long timber columns

为了研究内嵌钢筋外包碳纤维布复合加固方形中长木柱的轴压性能,完善复合加固木柱理论,通过试验研究、理论分析和数值模拟等方法研究复合加固方形中长木柱的轴向压缩性能.在试验研究中,以嵌筋数量、碳纤维布包裹量以及碳纤维布包裹方式作为参数变量,进行了 8根不同加固形式木柱的轴压试验,分析了试件的破坏特征、荷载-位移曲线、荷载-应变曲线,并与已有复合加固方形短木柱的试验结果进行了对比分析.试验结果表明,相较于未加固木柱,复合加固方形中长木柱的承载力提高了 14.12%~67.05%.同时,采用ABAQUS软件建立了有限元数值分析模型,在验证模型可靠性的基础上,研究了试件长细比、截面配筋率、碳纤维布间隔宽度对加固效果的影响.分析发现:随着长细比增加,复合加固木柱的承载力逐渐降低,当长细比大于70时,柱的承载力显著下降;当配筋率约为2.5%、碳纤维条带的自身宽度和间隔宽度均为150 mm时,内嵌钢筋外包碳纤维布复合加固方形中长木柱的综合受力性能最好.

In order to study the axial compression mechanical properties and improve the theory of square medium-long timber columns strengthened with near surface mounted steel bars and wrapped carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP)strips,the axial compression performance of composite strengthened timber columns was studied through experimental research,theoretical analysis and numerical simulation in this paper.In the experimental study,axial compression tests were carried out on eight timber columns with different strengthening forms,using the number of embedded steel bars,the amount and wrapped ways of CFRP strips as parameter variables.The failure characteristics,load-displacement curves,and load-strain curves of specimens were analyzed,and the test results were compared with those of the composite strengthened square short timber columns.Experimental results show that the load bearing capacity of the composite strengthened square medium-long timber columns increases by 14.12%to 67.05%compared with un-strengthened timber columns.Meanwhile,a finite element numerical analysis model was established using ABAQUS software.On the basis of the varified model,the influences of the slenderness ratio of specimens,the reinforcement ratio of the section,and the spacing width of CFRP strips on the reinforcement effect were studied.The analysis reveals that the load bearing capacity of the composite strengthened timber columns gradually decreases with the increase of the slenderness ratio and significantly decreases when the slenderness ratio is greater than 70.When the reinforcement ratio is around 2.5%and the width of the CFRP strips and the spacing are both 150 mm,the mechanical performance of composite strengthened square medium-long timber columns is the best.
