Abstract
The LCC-VSC cascaded DC topology and basic operating characteristics are expounded.Combined with the main problems in the development of Jiangsu power grid,the application background of hybrid cascaded DC in Jiangsu power grid is analyzed.Focusing on the problems of security and stability with multi-feed DC and the improvement of the power receiving capacity of load center,the advantages of applying the hybrid cascaded DC technology are studied and analyzed.The research and analysis show that,compared with the conventional DC technology,the hybrid cascaded DC technology is beneficial to reduce the interaction between the multi-feeding DC at the receiving end,reduce the number of commutation failures of the nearby conventional DC,and improve the secutity and stability level of the receiving end power grid.Through the flexible switching of the operation modes of multiple VSC converters,the necessary power flow control and dynamic reactive power support capabilities can be provided for the AC power grid,and the power receiving capacity of the receiving end load center can be improved.Finally,combined with the characteristics of Jiangsu power grid,the idea of further development and application of hybrid cascaded multi-terminal DC technology is proposed.关键词
