基于FY-4A和GPM的定量降水估测
Quantitative precipitation estimation based on FY-4A and GPM

Abstract
By using the near-surface precipitation intensity data of the Global Precipitation Measurement Satellite(GPM)and the multi-channel infrared brightness temperature data of new generation of geostationary meteorological satellite-Fengyun-4A(FY-4A)of China,a satellite quantitative model based on random forest algorithm was developed.Precipitation Estimation Program(RF-QPE),which estimated precipitation for a 3-month period in summer 2021 and compared the results with the FY-4A precipitation estimation product.Results show that:(1)the hit rate(POD)of the estimated precipitation area can reach 0.642,which is 365.2%higher than the POD of the FY-4A precipitation estimation product;the Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)of the estimated precipitation intensity is 1.792 mm·h-1,which is about 36.2%lower than the RMSE of FY-4A precipitation estimation product;(2)the estimated RMSE of light rain and moderate rain are 1.060 and 3.780 mm·h-1 respectively,while the RMSE of FY-4A precipitation estimation product for light rain and moderate rain is 1.730 and 5.558 mm·h-1,respectively;compared with the FY-4A precipitation estimation product,it can better estimate the intensity of light rain and moderate rain,but it is not ideal for estimating the intensity of heavy rain and torrential rain.关键词
