摘要
Abstract
The stability of vegetable oils commonly used in lipstick was studied,and their OSI values were measured by oil oxidation analyzer.The results showed that the stability of different vegetable oils differed greatly.The overall oxidation stability was ranked from high to low as follow:organic virgin coconut oil,sclerocarya birrea seed oil,limnanthes alba(meadowfoam)seed oil,golden jojoba oil,macadamia nut oil,olive oil,organic high oleic sunflower oil,sweet almond oil,and shea butter.The composition of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids in oil is the main factor affecting the oxidative stability of oil.Organic virgin coconut oil is mainly composed of stable saturated fatty acids,which give it the highest OSI value.There are also significant differences in the oxidation stability of the same vegetable oil among different manufacturers,which is mainly related to the source of raw materials,preparation processes,etc.关键词
