Abstract
About 6,000 years ago,the earliest pictographic patterns have appeared,and the number of pictographic patterns is much lower than that of geometric pattern faience,and the fish pattern is the most numerous and most typical pattern.Among the decorative patterns of Yangshao cultural painted pottery,the fish pattern is rich and diverse,which is the em-bodiment of beauty.It is full of people's expectations for a better life and highlights the nuanced observation of nature in primitive societies.This paper discusses the Yangshao Banpo faience fish pattern from the perspective of the category,sym-bol and evolution of the Banpo fish pattern,and pursues and discusses the beauty of the Banpo fish pattern.关键词
