摘要

Abstract

China Railway Express(CR Express)is currently facing challenges such as the gradual reduction of government subsidies and the requirement for market-oriented operations.The consolidation transportation mode is an efficient transportation organization mode for CR Express to reduce transportation costs and enhance market competitiveness.To explore the location of consolidation centers and cargo transportation routes for CR Express,this paper developed a mixed integer programming model with the objectives of minimizing costs and greenhouse gas emissions.The paper employed the augmented ε-constraint method for solving and determined the optimal consolidation center settings and cargo transportation routes under two different cargo distribution scenarios.The results indicate that the optimal consolidation centers and transportation routes vary with different cargo distributions,with Xi'an,Guangzhou,Nanjing,Urumqi,Lanzhou,Harbin,and Tianjin identified as relatively stable consolidation centers for CR Express.Moreover,the marginal benefit of reducing greenhouse gas emissions through economic cost expenditure diminishes.This paper provides academic references for determining consolidation centers for CR Express and the cargo attraction areas of each center.
