Digital Economy and Chinese-style Agricultural and Rural Modernization:Theoretical Mechanism and Empirical Test

Abstract
This paper is based on the data of 287 prefecture level cities in China from 2012 to 2021 to empirically test the ef-fect and path of digital economy on the Chinese-tyle modernization of agriculture and rural areas.The results are as follows:Digi-tal economy has a significant empowering effect on the Chinese style modernization of agriculture and rural areas.The impact of the digital economy on the Chinese style modernization of agriculture and rural areas presents a spatial distribution pattern of"western region>central region>northeast region>eastern region"and"grain production and sales balance zone>grain main pro-duction area>grain main sales area".The deep penetration of digital economy can continuously empower the Chinese-style mod-ernization of agriculture and rural areas by accelerating the upgrading of agricultural industrial structure,driving the development of digital inclusive finance,and deepening technological progress degree.关键词
