Effect of oral administration of Pulian Qinghua Decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine retention enema in the treatment of chronic pelvic pain of sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease with accumulation and stasis of damp heat type

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of oral administration of Pulian Qinghua Decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine retention enema in the treatment of chronic pelvic pain of sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease with accumulation and stasis of damp heat type.Methods From May 2022 to March 2024,72 chronic pelvic pain patients with sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease with accumulation and stasis of damp heat type who were treated in the gynecological clinic of Kunming Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected.According to the random number table method,they were divided into treatment group(36 cases,treated with oral administration of Pulian Qinghua Decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine retention enema)and control group(36 cases,treated with oral antibiotics).The traditional Chinese medicine symptom score,pelvic pain score and treatment effect were compared between the two groups.Results Before treatment,there were no differences in traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and pelvic pain score between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and pelvic pain score in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Oral administration of Pulian Qinghua Decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine retention enema is effective in treating chronic pelvic pain of sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease with accumulation and stasis of damp heat type,and can improve traditional Chinese medicine syndromes and pelvic pain.关键词
