Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of laparoscopic radical resection of colon cancer and laparoto-my in the treatment of senile colon cancer. Methods A total of 68 elderly patients with colon cancer were randomly divided into the traditional group and the intervention group,34 cases in each group.Pa-tients in the traditional group were treated with laparotomy for colon cancer, and patients in the interven-tion group were given laparoscopic radical resection of colon cancer. The operation-related indicators,in-flammatory factors, immune indicators, and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the traditional group, the intervention group had shorter operation time, gastrointestinal function recovery time, and length of hospital stay(P<0.05)and less intraopera-tive blood loss(P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences in inflammatory fac-tors and immune indicators between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP)in both groups were higher than those before treatment, and the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),CD4+and CD8+were lower than those before treatment but the levels of CRP and IL-6 in the in-tervention group were lower than those in the traditional group(P<0.05),and the levels of CD4 and CD8 were higher than those in the traditional group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative compli-cations in the intervention group was lower than that in the traditional group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in survival rate and recurrence rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Both laparoscopic radical resection of colon cancer and laparotomy for colon cancer have certain therapeu-tic effect on elderly patients with colon cancer, but the former scheme has more advantages. It can improve the immune function of patients while ensuring safety, and is more in line with the requirements of clinical treatment.关键词
