Abstract

Turnover intention of teachers is a barometer of turnover behavior,is closely related to the occurrence of turnover behavior of teachers,and affects the stability of the teacher team.Reducing the turnover intention of teachers and minimizing the occurrence of turnover behavior are the key to maintaining the stability of the teacher team.This paper explores the turnover intention of young teachers in universities and colleges from the theoretical perspective of job demands-resources model by using the qualitative interview method,aiming to reveal the formation process,formation reasons and influences of turnover intention of young teachers.As shown by the results,at the level of the formation process,the formation of turnover intention of young teachers is not achieved overnight,but changes with the stage of entry;at the level of formation reasons,the increase in job demands for young teachers and the scarcity of job resources are important factors in the formation of turnover intension;at the level of influences,the formation of turnover intention has influences on the growth and development students,the operating costs of universities and colleges,and the professional development of teachers.In view of this,this paper proposes improvement measures from clarifying the responsibilities of young teachers,implementing tiered reduction and exemption of work tasks,and promoting teacher classification management.
