Role Of LncRNA SNHG1 in Acinetobacter baumannii Infection of Lung Epithelial Cells

Abstract
Several studies have shown that aberrant expression of lncRNA SNHG1 is associated with inflammation-related diseases.To understand the role of SNHG1 in lung infection,Acinetobacter baumannii was used to infect human lung epithelial cells to establish a cellular infection model in this study.To further investigate the regulatory role of SNHG1 in the infection process,we constructed an overexpression vector of SNHG1 and synthesized its interfering RNA to investigate the effect of SNHG1 on the expression of antimicrobial peptide hBD-2 and cytokines IL-6 and IL-8.The results showed that the expression of hBD-2,IL-6 and IL-8 significantly increased after A549 cells were infected with A.baumannii,indicating that the infection model was successfully constructed.When SNHG1 was overexpressed in A549 cells,the transcript levels of IL-6 and IL-8 increased and the secretion of hBD-2 in the supernatant also increased.When SNHG1 was interfered,hBD-2 was slightly decreased.In conclusion,lncRNA SNHG1 was involved in the infection process through regulation of antimicrobial peptide hBD-2 and cytokines IL-6 and IL-8.关键词
