滑液囊支原体和传染性支气管炎共感染模型的建立及初步研究
Development and Preliminary Study of a Co-infection Model of Mycoplasma synoviae and Infectious Bronchitis Virus
摘要
Abstract
To elucidate the pathogenicity and disease progression of co-infection with Mycoplasma synoviae(MS)and infectious bronchitis virus(IBV),we developed a co-infection model in 7-week-old chickens in this study. We monitored and analyzed growth, pathogen distribution, and seroconversion post infection. The results indicated that IBV infection enhanced the colonization and pathogenicity of MS as evidenced by significantly lower weight gain in the co-infected group compared to groups with a single infection.Furthermore, seroconversion to MS in the co-infected group appeared one week earlier with significantly higher DNA loads and broader tissue distribution than in the single infection group. This study highlighted the urgent need for developing effective monitoring and immunization strategies towards the dynamics of MS and IBV co-infection on large-scale poultry farms for the prevention of respiratory diseases.关键词
