Research Progress on Zinc-Dependent Metalloprotease-1 of Mycobacterium tuberculosis
摘要
Abstract
Zinc-dependent metalloprotease-1(Zmp1)is a secreted virulence factor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis(MTB),belonging to the M13 endopeptidase family.ZMP1 has multiple functions,which block phagosome maturation and suppress the activation of inflammasome so that bacteria survive in macrophages.Subsequently,the infected cells were necrotic and MTB dissemination.In addition,Zmp1 has strong immunogenicity through Th2 pathway to stimulate a highly efficient and specific humoral immune response and play an immune regulatory role.Therefore,ZMP1 plays a key role in the pathogenesis and immunoregulation of MTB,providing a potential target for tuberculosis management,vaccine development and infection detection.关键词
