Biological Function of Capsaicin and Its Application in Ruminant Production
摘要
Abstract
Capsaicin(CAP)is derived from chilli fruits,the main pungent ingredient in chilli peppers.It has a variety of effects such as antibacterial,anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.In livestock production,capsaicin can improve feed intake,daily weight gain,feed conversion rate and disease resistance of livestock and poultry,and it plays an important role in improving ruminant production performance,rumen fermentation and enhancing disease immunity.This paper reviews the biological functions of capsaicin and its application in ruminant production,aiming to provide a theoretical basis for further practice of capsaicin in ruminant production.关键词
