Abstract
To investigate the anti-mammary tumor effects of Xihuang pill(XHP)in vivo and in vitro,the CCK-8 assay was used to determine the inhibition rate of XHP on the cell proliferation of canine mammary tumor cell line(CMT-U27);the tumor-bearing mice were randomly divided into Control,Doxorubicin,Xihuang pill Low Dose(XHP-L),Xihuang pill Medium Dose(XHP-M),and XHP-H group to investigate the tumor inhibitory efficacy of different doses of XHP on the CMT-U27 subcutaneous transplantation tumor model.)and Xihuang pill high-dose group(XHP-H)to investigate the tumor-suppressive efficacy of different doses of XHP on the CMT-U27 subcutaneous graft tumor model.The results of in vitro tests showed that XHP significantly inhibited the growth of CMT-U27 cells in a time-and concentration-dependent manner compared with the control group.The results of animal tests showed that the tumor volume of each test group was significantly smaller than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the tumor weight of the XHP group was significantly decreased.Among them,the tumor inhibition rates of Xihuang pill low,medium and high dose groups were 15.3%,20.53%and 57.99%,respectively.Compared with the nude mice in the DOX group,the nude mice in the Xihuang pill group were in good spirits,with normal weight gain and organ coefficients.In conclusion,the Xihuang pill has a significant proliferation inhibitory effect on canine mammary tumor cell line CMT-U27,has a good tumor suppression effect on subcutaneous transplantation tumor in nude mice,and has no apparent toxic side effects on the organism,providing a new choice for the treatment of canine mammary tumors.关键词
