Modernization of Vocational Education Serving the High-quality Population Development:Demand Orientation,Multiple Logics and Practical Approaches

Abstract
Vocational education is one of the important tools for social services and a vital component of the population service system. In response to trends such as declining birth rates,an aging population,and increasingly rapid inter-regional and inter-industry population mobility in China,there are new demands from the public,economic and social development,and even from within vocational education itself for modernization. Vocational education should take into account the scale of the population and changes in its size as the logical starting point,serve the structure and changes of the population as the logical pathway,and improve the quality of population as the fundamental logic. By building a flexible and open educational service system,advancing reforms in the school system and training models,optimizing the layout adjustment of college majors,and improving curriculum design and teaching methods,we aim to achieve high-quality and scientifically sustainable development of vocational education and serve the high-quality population development.关键词
