Cai Dingfang's experience in the treatment of tumor-related depression with combination of disease and syndrome

Abstract
Professor Cai Dingfang believes that the treatment of tumor-related depression requires the combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation.Firstly,it is important to pay attention to the pathological and physiological characteristics of tumor itself;While consolidating the vital qi of the body,it is also necessary to eliminate pathogenic toxin such as phlegm,dampness,blood stasis,and heat;Professor Cai proposes to use the specialized formula of"Wuxiang wushen"to treat tumors.Professor Cai Dingfang believes that the onset of depression is mainly blamed on the liver,which is closely related to the heart and kidneys;Treatment mainly focuses on dispersing liver and regulating qi,while also taking into account the heart and kidneys.Professor Cai Dingfang innovatively proposes the theory of disease treatment based on syndrome differentiation of tumor-related depression.Professor Cai emphasizes the combination of treatment based on syndrome differentiation with special prescriptions and drugs,which can effectively control the recurrence and metastasis of the tumor while improving the patient's symptoms and syndromes.关键词
