Abstract
A stepped piezoelectric composite sensitive element is proposed for the problem of the operating bandwidth of the hydroacous-tic transducer.The stepped piezoelectric composite takes the methods of reducing the mechanical quality factor and utilizing multi-mode coupling technology to effectively expand the operating bandwidth.An equivalent circuit method is adopted to theoretically analyze a sin-gle 1-3-2 type piezoelectric composite in a stepped piezoelectric composite to derive the relationship between its base thickness dimen-sion and theoretical resonant frequency.Then the finite element analysis software is used to simulate the individual 1-3-2 piezoelectric composites and stepped piezoelectric composites to obtain the relationship between the base thickness of individual 1-3-2 piezoelectric composites and the cross-sectional area of ceramic small columns and the resonant frequency,and the simulation is compared with the theory to reasonably design the geometry of stepped piezoelectric composites and make the sample of the sensitive element of stepped pi-ezoelectric composites.The sensitive element is prepared as a sensor and tested underwater.The test results are consistent with the theo-retical and simulation results,the operating frequency range is 143 kHz~239 kHz,and the bandwidth is 96 kHz,which is good for multi-mode coupling and dramatically expands the working bandwidth.关键词
