Abstract

The metal grounding grid of transmission line tower faces the problem of corrosion for a long time,which affects the service life of grounding grid and lightning protection safety of line.The corrosion of the metal grounding electrode will cause breakpoints in the tower grounding grid,and the grounding re-sistance of the entire grounding grid will exceed the limit.In order to solve the problem of grounding flow in the corrosion fracture of tower grounding grid,a simulation model using virtual conductor instead of breakpoint was established to analyze the effects of soil resistivity,frequency of grounding current and breakpoint position on the scattering characteristics of box grounding grid,box extension without break-point and box extension with breakpoint.The results show that with the increase of soil resistivity,the in-crease rate of grounding resistance with breakpoint in square enclosure extension first increases and then tends to saturation.The change of the frequency of incoming current has little effect on the grounding re-sistance with breakpoint in the epitaxial of square frame.The current on the epitaxial lead decreases with the increase of frequency and the maximum current on the isolated epitaxial lead gradually moves for-ward.The closer the breakpoint is to the grounding grid,the greater the grounding resistance and the more obvious the gradient of the grounding scalar potential at the breakpoint.
