New Quality Productivity Forces Element Mechanism,Innovation Logic,and Path Breakthrough-Through the Lens of System Theory

Abstract
Summary President Xi Jinping's conceptualization of"new quality productivity forces"represents an evolution of Marxist productivity theory within the framework of Chinese economic thought and provides a strategic lens to address the new challenges,characteristics,and trends of China's economy.It serves as a core objective for China's future economic and social development.However,the theoretical exploration of its conceptual framework,systemic composition,and underlying mechanisms remains nascent,requiring deeper investigation to establish a guiding framework for industrial upgrading and economic advancement. This study analyzes the structural elements,system functions,and operational mechanisms of the new quality productivity forces through the perspective of system theory.Using a logical framework encompassing"theoretical explanation → element mechanism → innovation logic → path breakthrough → policy implication",the research systematically explores the concept of new quality productivity forces.Specifically,on the basis of the interpretation of the theoretical connotation of the new quality productivity forces,we analyze the constitutive characteristics of new quality productivity forces system elements from the perspective of system theory element;explore the dynamic mechanism of new quality productivity forces system elements from the perspective of system theory structure;expound the composing dimension and target orientation of new quality productivity forces innovation system from the perspective of system theory function.Additionally,we further explore the environmental effect of the new quality productivity forces system,and present the"2-4-8 model"of developing new quality productivity forces based on the execution logic of"input-system-output".Furthermore,it discusses the industrial-level pathways for realizing these forces,with a focus on achieving systemic control and sustainable development goals. The mainfindings are as follows.The system of new quality productivity forces is characterized by its comprehensive integration of traditional production elements and emerging data-driven components,such as big data and artificial intelligence.These elements interact synergistically,driving industrial digitalization and digital industrialization to enable green productivity through multidimensional innovation environments.The functional dimensions of this system reflect a transition toward high-quality economic development via collaborative innovation mechanisms.The study highlights the critical role of new quality productivity forces as an internal driver for building a modern industrial system.By clarifying the supporting conditions for its development,the research underscores the importance of fostering high-quality growth and achieving competitive advantages in the global economic landscape. This paper advances the literature in four significant ways.First,it systematically analyzes the composition and interaction of system elements in the new quality productivity forces,revealing their structural and functional dynamics.Second,it explores the environmental effects and dimensions of the system's innovation framework,elucidating its theoretical connotations and presenting the"2-4-8 model".Third,it investigates the industrial pathways for leveraging new quality productivity forces by emphasizing the integration of digital technologies with scientific,industrial,and organizational innovation.Forth,it provides actionable insights for aligning the system's development with high-quality economic objectives through strategic policy guidance.关键词
