摘要

Abstract

As a clean and efficient energy storage medium,the lithium-ion batteries have been applied on a large scale in the field of energy storage,but also accompanied with huge security risks.Whether in the battery manufacturing stage or service stage,the early detection for the internal de-fects or failure behavior of the batteries can effectively reduce the probability of safety accidents.Al-though the conventional disassembly detection methods can intuitively observe the characteristics of the battery after internal failure,the damage brought by the detection method is irreversible.The nondestructive testing technology can carry out in-situ detection and analysis of batteries under the real environment and working conditions,has the advantages of nondestructive and real-time detec-tion,and can accurately feedback the dynamic changes such as battery failure and life decay,which helps to further optimize material design,improve battery manufacturing process,and improve bat-tery safety level.The works of nondestructive testing of lithium-ion batteries based on X-ray imaging,computed tomography imaging,neutron scattering,ultrasonic detection,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and other directions were reviewed,and the industrial application prospects of various methods were prospected.
