Mechanism of Xiao'er Dingchuan Oral Liquid in the Treatment of Children with Asthma Based on Network Pharmacology

摘要

Abstract

Objective:To explore the components,target information and network pharmacological mechanism of Xiao'er Dingchuan oral liquid in the treatment of children with asthma.Methods:Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP),PubChem and SwissTargetPrediction databases were retrieved to predict the components and targets of Xiao'er Dingchuan oral liquid.On-line Mendelian Inheritance in Man(OMIM)and GeneCards databases were retrieved to obtain the asthma-related disease targets.Venn diagram was drawn on bioinformatics platform to output the common targets of drugs and diseases,and the"drug-component-target"network was constructed with CytoScape software to screen out the core components.Protein-protein interaction analysis was carried out in combination with STRING database and CytoNCA tool to screen out core targets.Gene ontology(GO)and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analysis were performed for common targets by using DAVID database.Results:Totally 172 active components,931 targets,2,787 children's asthma targets,10 core components including glabridin,baicalin and wogonin,as well as 10 core targets including epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR),interleukin-6(IL-6),and signal transduction and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)were screened out from Xiao'er Dingchuan oral liquid.There were 186 KEGG enrichment pathways,including phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-protein kinase B(PI3K-Akt),mitogen activated protein kinase(MAPK),calcium ion and other signaling pathways.Conclusion:Xiao'er Dingchuan oral liquid plays an important role in the treatment of children with asthma through multi-components,multi-targets and multi-pathways.
