摘要

Abstract

The article improves the energy absorption characteristics by optimizing the structure of the energy absorbing box,meeting the requirement of more effective absorption of collision energy by automotive energy absorbing boxes under low-speed collisions.LS-DYNA software was used to conduct collision simulation research on the energy absorbing box,and the influence of the shape and wall thickness of the energy absorbing box on the energy absorbing characteristics was compared and analyzed.The optimal cross-sectional shape and wall thickness were obtained,and the optimal transition R-angle was verified through static pressure tests on the production object.A aluminum alloy energy absorbing box was successfully designed to ensure that the energy absorbing characteristics were met while improving the lightweight level.
