Abstract
The peroxide vulcanization system natural rubber was aged with fluorescence ultraviolet radiation.The changes of natural rubber in appearances,mechanical properties,infrared structure,glass transition temperature,and crosslinking density before and after aging 400 h,800 h,1200 h,2000 h,and 3000 h were studied.The results show that after aging for 2000 hours,the rubber completely fails,it becomes hard,cracks appear on the surface,loses elasticity,and mechanical properties significantly decrease.The glass transition temperature becomes higher.Based on the infrared spectrum and changes in crosslinking density,we can concluded that natural rubber chains undergo chain breaking reaction first,and then new crosslinking reactions dominate.关键词
