The Influence of Fine RAP Content on the Performance of High Modulus Asphalt Mixture

Abstract
In order to investigate the impact of various fine RAP content on the performance of high-modulus asphalt mixtures,the maximum fine RAP content was determined considering the recoverable degree of gradation and the property of recycled asphalt.Four types of high-modulus recycled asphalt mixtures with varying RAP fines contents of 0%,10%,20%,and 30%were designed and subjected to a series of comprehensive experimental methods,including uniaxial compression dynamic modulus testing,rutting test,low-temperature beam bending test,freeze-thaw splitting test,and four-point beam fatigue test.Concurrently,the influence of fine RAP content on various performance indicators were analyzed.The experimental results indicate that the utilization of fine RAP materials for the preparation of high-modulus asphalt mixtures is feasible.And with the increase of RAP fine material content,the low temperature performance of the mixture will be improved to a certain extent,but the high temperature performance,water stability and fatigue resistance will be slightly reduced.关键词
