Abstract
The branching ratio is constrained by a"sum-to-one"condition,causing difficulty in generating per-turbed samples while preserving their statistical properties in a library of evaluated nuclear data.This study exam-ines the existing branch ratio sampling method based on the generalized Dirichlet distribution.Nuclides with three decay branches from the ENDF/B-Ⅷ.0 evaluated nuclear data library were selected for sampling.Moreover,for four nuclides,the established statistics(mean and standard deviation)in the evaluated nuclear data library could not be accurately satisfied.Building on the previous studies,the branching ratios of ENDF/B-Ⅷ.0 and JENDL-5 nuclides with three decay branches were compared.Results reveal notable differences between the branch ratio data provided by the two databases.The existing sampling methods were proven to meet the statistical requirements in JENDL-5 and successfully generate perturbed samples.Meanwhile,due to the"neutrality"of Dirichlet distribu-tion,the sampling method has a certain dependence on the sampling order.The input parameters must be arranged in ascending order during sampling.关键词
