摘要

Abstract

Organochlorides,as a kind of typical persistent organic pollutant,with a great variety of species,can enter the environment in various ways,posing a severe threat to human health and the ecological environment,which have been detected in water bodies across Central,East,South,and Northwest China.Therefore,it is vital to find an efficient and environmentally friendly way to treat organochlorides in groundwater restoration.Electrocatalytic hydrodechlorination(EHDC)technology,known for its ease of operation,mild reaction conditions and no secondary pollution,has received a widespread attention from researchers.This paper outlined the mechanism and advantages of EHDC in treating organochlorine wastewater and emphasized the electrode substrate,catalyst structure and composition,and substrate structure of organochlorides during sorting out the research work of degrading the organochlorine wastewater by EHDC technology in recent years.Based on the current research,the proposal on the development directions of catalyst loading efficiency and activity,H*generation and storage efficiency,electrode cost,and biodegradability of dechlorinated products were made.This work aims to provide a reference for achieving efficient dechlorination and detoxification of organochlorine wastewater.
