Abstract

Scoring of metalworking practice assignmentsis greatly influenced by subjective feelings and psychological states of evaluator,which leading to a low accuracy of scoring.In order to reduce the impact of subjective evaluation,a system capable of automatically scoring students'metalworking practice assignments is designed,which consists of both software and hardware.The hardware mainly includes MV-CH089-10UM Hikvision industrial camera,ring light source,double-arm lever,and automatic centering platform.It can automatically and orderly transfer students' assignments to the lens of the industrial camera in batches,and then achieve precise positioning through the automatic centering platform.The software is based on the secondary development of Halcon visual software,which performs image grayscaling,filtering,and sharpening on the assignment photos obtained by the hardware.Scores are then given based on template matching with variable shapes,and a table is finally generated for convenient subsequent performance management.Experimental results prove that this system can truly reflect the deviation between metalworking practice assignments and standard templates,quantify assignment scoring,eliminate subjective human influence,and achieve objective scoring.
