Patent Value Evaluation of Artificial Intelligence Industry Based on Factor Analysis

Abstract
As the concept of high-value patents has emerged and rapidly evolved,the assessment of patent value has emerged as a crucial instrument for guiding technological innovation and enhancing resource allocation.Therefore,an in-depth exploration of the patent value in the field of artificial intelligence in China is of great significance for promoting the breakthrough development of AI technology,generating more high-quality patents,as well as cultivating and protecting high-value patent achievements.Based on the effective invention patent data filed in China's artificial intelligence industry from 2019 to 2023,we try to evaluate its patent value by using factor analysis method,and analyze the results to get the following conclusions:(1)The most promising innovation subjects with the most promising patent value in the artificial intelligence industry are Huawei,Cambrian and other enterprises.(2)The patent technology categories with higher value in AI industry are concentrated in G06 and H04,i.e.information technology field.(3)From a regional perspective,the patent value of China's artificial intelligence industry shows the phenomenon of uneven development,with the highest in the east,followed by the central,western and northeastern regions.Finally,relevant suggestions to promote the patent value of China's AI industry are put forward.关键词
