摘要

Abstract

Closed international cooperation is urgently needed to tackle climate change,however,the state-of-the-art of international research collaboration(IRC)in climate change under the great-power competition remain unclear.The pattern and trend of IRC in climate change response to Sino-US science and technology competition are explored,and some countermeasures will be suggested to deepening the Chinese IRC of this field.The results show that there is negative increasing in IRC of climate change,because a significant decreasing trend occur in the bilateral IRC.There is a largest negative growth for the bilateral IRC between USA and China in Chinese IRC publications.While the effect of the political tension on the multilateral IRC is limited.The potential trend of bloc confrontation may have little impact on the Chinese IRC.Although Sino-US science and technology competition significantly affect the bilateral IRC between China and USA,the American scientific community still has a strong desire to cooperate with Chinese scientists.Currently,the China-US IRC will continue in the difficulties.To deepen the IRC and response to US arbitrary tech blockade,some measures including strengthening top-level design,balancing the distribution of IRC,expending the multilateral IRC mechanisms,deepening the cooperation with neighboring research entities should be taken.
