摘要

Abstract

The jet loom is widely employed in the textile industry because of its high efficiency and wide width.However,the semi-open flow field formed by the combination of the profiled reed and the auxiliary nozzles can cause significant gas loss.To address this issue,the research group presents a sheet-type multi-source weft insertion technology.Through innovative design of the weft insertion channel,an approximately closed flow field is formed,thereby enhancing the weft insertion efficiency and reducing gas consumption.Numerical simulation and analysis of the combined flow field of the composite weft insertion sheet were conducted using ANSYS FLUENT software to investigate the influence of the spacing and quantity of multiple composite weft insertion sheets on the flow field characteristics.The results indicate that when the spacing of the composite weft insertion sheets is 57 mm,the airflow attenuation is slower and gas loss and consumption is reduced.When three composite weft insertion sheets act jointly,the stability of airflow weft insertion is optimal.This technology effectively reduces gas loss and consumption while ensuring the weft insertion effect,providing new methods and theoretical support for reducing gas loss in jet looms.
